I'm not a fan of succumbing to pressure, in fact, the word pressure does not exist in my life except when I have to use it in a story that I'm working on. But as a journalist in the 21st century, I'd be lying if I said that the pressure to blog hasn't crept up on me several times. I didn't want to just be another blogger who is in it for the 'coolness' tag that comes with it. And I definitely didn't want to do it because everyone else was. Besides, it seemed like every great idea that I ever wanted to blog about was already taken. I still don't know what I want this blog be about but I'll carve it out as I go along. For now, I'll make it the home of my opinions. I pray to God that the end product will be something ground-breaking (because I don't do mediocre, LOL). Welcome to my world...
